The imagey for the cover, spreads, and ticket were based on the location of the commencement ceremony, The Shriners Silver Garden Events Center in Southfield Michigan. The architecture of the interior auditorium is surrounded with stained glass.
Photographs were taken of the stained glass at the Shriners Silver Garden Events Center, which were used as the inspiration for the program. A painting and colored pencil piece were made which were digitally combined to create the artwork. The bright colors and depth of the piece is the result of manipulating the original art pieces' attributes.
